What I learned from IT19

Headaches. Sleepless nights. Group presentations. What more?
We'll, we undergone all of these to have a best output. What could I learn from these course (IT19 Technical Presentation Skills in IT)?

There are lots lessons I've learned when I got IT 19 as my subject...

I learned what's teamwork...

Multimedia...

Sounds professional... more technical... and difficult..

Our final project would be the multimedia presentation. We were given an option for our multimedia presentation, would it be a drama or a documentary. Our group chooses the documentary since all of us in the group are not dramatist in nature and we don't extra talent on that field.

"Makabagong Kabataan Sa Bayan ni Juan", that was our topic for our documentation. We chooses it since we can see immediately our subject for it. It was a group project so we expected that we could build teamwork for that.

From my group mates, I learned more on technical, I know how to use different video editing softwares and exploring all the uses and functions in its menu bar, the tools in it ans applying it artistically on our project. The making was not easy as we think of it because we were in the field interviewing the youth, asking where they live and basically asking them this question, "Do you believe what Rizal Have said that the youth is the hope of our Fatherland?" and "Do you believe that it is also applicable by now?"

Wow! The adventure was really more exciting as I expected. I concluded, learning is not only purely lecture but it must be also associated with technicality and interactivity.

Group works teaches everyone to have teamwork and

I learned that patience...

Group works are already in the routine. It's not new to us to have activity by group. I learned how to act with an on-the-spot topic, I mean impromptu. I just can't imagine how do we look at that time.. I never expect to have a little bit drama and acting in our course. Who could ever imagine?

I believe, being in our section is a kind of being enrolled in a "public administration courses" or "public relation courses". I never expected a learning such as this.

We were taught how to face the public with our presentation (I gain a little confidence during that time). We learned how to present it with the proper aura and gestures, we learned how to project professionally even in a simple way..

That is how we gain patience... We're trying hard to be one!
